Film types: clear PPF, matte PPF, coloured PPF and vinyl
Which film suits you: key differences between clear, matte and coloured PPF, vinyl wrap and window tint films.

Clear PPF
Protects factory paint from stone chips, scratches and road chemicals without changing colour. An option for owners who want to preserve the original colour.
Matte PPF
Protects and turns gloss paint into a satin/matte finish. The colour stays; only the shine goes.
Coloured PPF
Protection and a new colour at once. Protection depends on the product’s composition, thickness and installation quality; compare prices for specific materials.
Vinyl wrap
Mainly for colour change and design. Thinner and less protective than PPF, but huge choice and usually a lower price.
Window tint films
For glass: standard, athermal and ceramic. Heat and UV reduction depend on the specific product’s performance. See our separate article on tint rules.
How to choose
Keep the paint — clear PPF. Change the look and protect — coloured or matte PPF. Design only on a smaller budget — vinyl. The “Which option suits you?” block on the home page helps too.
